#IfThenSheCan – The Exhibit: Game Changers celebrates 26 women whose groundbreaking work in STEM powers the world of sports. Following its debut during the FIFA Fan Festival™ Dallas at the FIFA World Cup 26™, the exhibit will open at Pegasus Park in Dallas in Fall 2027, where visitors can experience life-size, 3D-printed statues, immersive storytelling, and discover the STEM behind the sports we love. #IfThenSheCan – The Exhibit: Game Changers

Full Exhibits

All statues that make up the original #IfThenSheCan – The Exhibit have been displayed together during two full exhibits - one at NorthPark Center in Dallas in 2021 and the other at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC in March of 2022. Since 2020, ten ‘pop-up’ exhibits have made it possible for visitors to experience #IfThenSheCan – The Exhibit from Texas to New York City. Venues have included the Dallas Arboretum and Botanic Garden, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, Regeneron's International Science and Engineering Fair, National Institutes of Health, Central Park, Dallas Love Field and Pegasus Park in Dallas, TX, where 25 statues remain on display.

Smithsonian in Washington DC

The Smithsonian presented #IfThenSheCan - The Exhibit on and around the National Mall in celebration of Women’s History Month and the power of women and girls in STEM to shape a better world.

National Celebration of Women STEM Innovators

For the first time on a national stage, 120 statues of women were on display during the Smithsonian's Women's Futures Month Festival complemented by an exciting lineup of Smithsonian programming for visitors of all ages and gender expressions to dream big and see themselves as scientists-in-the-making. Opening weekend festivities included a unique opportunity to meet AAAS IF/THEN Ambassadors and to enjoy inspiring activities for future innovators of all ages during a FUTURES Girl Power Family Day.

The statues were placed in the Arts + Industries Building, the Smithsonian Castle, the adjacent Enid A. Haupt Garden, the National Air and Space Museum and the National Natural History Museum for the entirety of Women's History Month.


NorthPark Center in Dallas, TX

The full #IfThenSheCan – The Exhibit debuted in Dallas, Texas, at NorthPark Center, in May of 2021 and remained on display through October 2021.

Cambridge Science Festival

Thirty statues were on display at the Cambridge Science Festival from September 25th through October 1st, 2023.


Pegasus Park

Exhibit statues have prominently lined the entry way to Pegasus Park, Dallas’s unique hub for regional life sciences innovation and social impact since September of 2022.

Dallas Arboretum

In-person and virtual programs, an exhibit scavenger hunt activity, and sponsored school group visits throughout the fall brought to life the inspirational stories of the fifty #IfThenSheCan – The Exhibit on display at the Dallas Arboretum from last September through January 2023. The statues were displayed in one of four locations within the Rory Meyer’s Children’s Adventure Garden as indicated below.

Perot Museum of Nature and Science

Forty statues welcomed visitors to the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in October and November of 2022.


One pop-up exhibit was displayed in two locations at Dallas Love Field from December 10, 2020 until May 9, 2021.

This preview featured 15 AAAS IF/THEN® Ambassadors. Ten of the statues highlight women who work in aviation or aerospace-related fields, including astrophysicists, a rocket scientist, and an aviation maintenance technician:


Six statues were displayed at the Central Park Zoo in New York City from August 17, 2020 through January 2021 in partnership with IF/THEN® Coalition Member, Wildlife Conservation Society.
